When the racing code was updated in 2019, France Galop asked TÉKIDÉ to come up with a highly visible flag that complied fully with the new regulations.
The TÉKIDÉ pennant is therefore 3.70m high and its flag is made up of a rigid three-dimensional diamond. Red on the right and white on the left...
The regulation TÉKIDÉ pennant can also be used as a distance marker with the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4... to indicate the distance to the pole in hundreds of metres. Numbered vinyl is also available.

Why chose TÉKIDÉ flags for your racecourse?
They are superior in every way: taller, sturdier, more visible and more durable. In the past, pennants were made from a flag on a wooden pole, which meant that visibility was affected by the wind and durability was very modest. TÉKIDÉ pennants, as well as being made of recycled PVC for safety, are rigid to enhance their functionality: marking out the route.
What is a compulsory crossing?
It's a compulsory passage that must be left to the right or left by competitors. It must be marked with a flag and noted on the course to enable the race marshals to carry out their duties. Note that the compulsory passage is often marked by a directional cone, which is why the TÉKIDÉ pennant fits perfectly into the cone.
