Directional cone
- The directional safety cone - high visibility with integrated flag
- To mark out your steeplechase and cross-country courses
- Designed for the safety of jockeys and horses
- Mobile, can be anchored to the ground
- Maintenance-free
The TÉKIDÉ directional cone was born out of the need to make track intersections safer, mainly at jumping racecourses. It was immediately adopted at Pau and Auteuil in particular.
The TÉKIDÉ cone is the solution if you want to ensure that your track lines are clearly visible, start an unravelling or secure compulsory crossings.
Some racecourses also use them to untwist a bend in an obstacle or to make track entrances safer by preventing horses from dragging a hip over a fence or a potentially dangerous object.

Where does the design of the TÉKIDÉ directional cone come from?
It's a full-size replica of the famous "Pain de Sucre" that was previously used at Auteuil for decades. At the time, the cone was made of painted wood. At France Galop's request, we have preserved the ribs of the original model while adapting the design to the new material used: high-density polyethylene to offer greater safety for horses and jockeys.
How do you maintain the TÉKIDÉ directional cones?
None, apart from annual cleaning with soapy water.
